HELLO ANDHERO BY AGNEE REVEALED

WHAT: MUSIC LAUNCH OF THE AVENGERS

The much talked-about Hindi theme song of The Avengers ‘Hello Andhero’ – composed and performed by popular band Agnee and lyrics by noted filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Jhootha Hi Sahi) – is being officially launched on Monday, 26 March, in a spectacular music launch at Mumbai. While Agnee will take the stage and perform Hello Andhero live, the biggest attraction of the night will be the appearance of Ironman at the venue!

The Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and being distributed in India by UTV Motion Pictures, had roped in Abbas and Agnee to create a theme song for their upcoming action-adventure flick The Avengers. A music video of the song will also be launched at the music launch.

The Avengers is the most anticipated Hollywood film this year and Agnee being a popular band in India makes it a double bonanza for the Indian comic fans. The movie will bring together the super hero team of Marvel Comics characters for the first time ever, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk and more, as they are forced to band together to battle the biggest foe they’ve ever faced.

The Avengers is set to release in India on 27 April 2012, a week before the US release date. The film will release in 3D and 2D versions. The film has also been dubbed for Hindi, Tamil and Telugu release.

Agnee’s frontmen, Mohan and Koco, say, “This one’s been a song that’s taken us on a long and very satisfying journey. At the end of it all, we’re not very sure who’s contributed the most: Abbas with his super lyrics, Aditi (Singh Sharma – female vocals) with her voice and outstanding singing, the band with the composition and delivery, Shiraz Bhattacharya, Chola and team on the video and styling, or UTV for giving us the right brief and putting the video together so well. It’s the best place to be after a song’s made, and we’re glad to be part. The Avengers is one of the most awaited films this year, and seeing the video, we’re sure it’ll be well worth the wait!”
