What: Film premiere of Dev Anand’s Charge sheet

  Bollywood legend Dev Anand is all set to be hero again. Yes, at the age of 87, he’s going to star in his next film Charge sheet. The film is a murder mystery and the actor will be playing a role of a CBI officer.
“Time moves with me”, says the evergreen hero of Bollywood whose age has created no dent in his zeal. He is still the excited, elevated and enthused Dev Anand! The veteran actor discusses of his highly talked about movie Charge sheet in Novotel in Mumbai.
Clearing the air as to why he didn’t want to entail media in the production stage of the film, Dev Saab said, “The sole reason to keep you people away from my film’s progress was that I didn’t want you to know the plot of the film. It is a murder mystery which needs to stay a secret until it releases”. A sneak peek into the film was also organized for the press.

When asked if he thinks Charge sheet is in any way similar to his past films, the actor said ruefully, “How can one movie be similar to another? If that happens, it means you are bankrupt”. Talking about the movie, he said, “I will also introduce you to my cast and crew. They are a mix of new and old and I hope you will love them too”. Charge sheet will also be a debut vehicle for the expelled minister of Samajwadi party Amar Singh. Speaking about him, Dev Saab quipped, “He has the looks of a home minister and so I cast him in the film”.

The actor’s production house Navketan Films entered into its 65th year and he wants to make the event memorable with his film Charge sheet. It is a suspense thriller, which has the octogenarian in a pivotal role along with a very new cast.
