Women’s Security serious issue in “Mambozz Movie Mela”

KES' Shroff College of Arts and Commerce (kandivali west) organized Inter Collegiate event “Mambozz Movie Mela”

“Mambozz Movie Mela” is organized by Mass Media students of  Blue mangoes media club which is an exclusive club of BMM.

Theme for this year was ‘classic Cartoons’ taking us back to old days of cartoons.

Keeping the Classic Cartoons theme in mind the participants were given different contingents based on cartoons. The participants were also asked to promote their contingents in online PR which is started this year by the college and most of the colleges from Mumbai participated into it. Colleges had to promote and cheer their college contingent on the Facebook page of Blue Mangoes Media Club. Colleges did it extremely well and many of them did it in bollywood style (like popye did  “ek tha popye”) , the Contingent Dexter i.e. Raheja College out numbered the other colleges in popularity adding end numbers of post on facebook and tweeting pictures..

It was an exuberant event in which around 15 colleges participated showcasing their wonderful knacks in short film making. The movies were made by the students and they showed their dexterities in areas like direction, Script writing, action, Cinematography etc.

Well this year in “Mambozz Movie Mela” short film making competition Women were the serious issue where many  youngsters focused on issues of rape case and Acid attack and injustice done against the women’s  like eve teasing and ragging etc.

Colleges like VIVA (vasai), KES’ shroff college (kandivali) and NL College (Malad) brought up the issues of Women’s security.

Mr. Taahah Shah (fame of LUV KA THE END & GIPPI MOVIE) was dynamic and charming actor who was the highlight of the event. The actor spread his knowledge giving tips and reviews to the students and also threw light on how to improve in areas of acting and other genres. He was happy to see that nowadays youths are focusing on serious issue of women’s security which is very much important after the Delhi and Mumbai gang rape cases happening back to back. He also interacted with youth and gave the tips to lead the girl’s heart.

He was touched with his fan following as all the beautiful ladies were gathering outside the college to get the picture clicked with him.

Amardeep, the master of robotics, the fame of India’s Dancing Superstar was very much happy to be part of the event as he was very much stunned to see such wonderful movies directed by the students at such a young age. He made the audiences spell bound by his performances of robotics where he danced on the romantic music of ‘Tm Hi ho’.
