The Graduating Batch Of National Institute Of Fashion Technology2012 Put Up A Fitting Finale. Students Had All Their Creativity On Display As They Got Done With Their Elaborate Degree Program And Equipped To Face Their Careers.

NIFT, Mumbai One Of The Premier Institutes In Fashion Education Has Always Celebrated ‘The Graduation Show 2012’  With Much Fanfare @ The Lalit ,Andheri. The Evening Was Inaugurated By Mr.Dilip Jiwrajka, Owner Alok Industries & ,Ms,.Nilima Rani Singh,Director-NIFT,Mumbai. The Highlight Of The Evening Was 55 Graduating Batch Students Of The Fashion Designing & Knitwear Departments Who Showcased Their Extraordinary Collections ‘FASHIONOVA’ And ‘KNITMODA’. Some Of The Exciting Themes The Students Have Worked On Are Khiraj-A-Jannat,Hypnotic Daze,Saudade,Dusky Adieu,Dream Catchers,Raised By The Streets, Time Starts Now And Many More.

The Vibrant And Distinct Collections Were A Result Of 5 Months Of Persistent Hard Work And Dedication. The Conceptualization Started 5 Months Ago With Designers Stating Influences And Trends That Gave A Sense Of Direction To Their Collection. Alok Industries Also Presented Their Brand Collections.

A Record Of Sorts Was Set By Ace Fashion Choreographer Achla Sachdev By Distincly Choreographing   All Of The 55 Fashion Sequences, Breaking Her Own Record Of 48. The  Action Packed Evening Ended With  The Students Being Conferred With A Range Of Awards Sponsored By Globus, AMFI (Association Of Manmade Fibre Of India), NOAH Fashions, Usha International, Sheetal India,Meher Castelino Etc. By Eminent Dignitaries.

Ranging From Inherently Indian Inspirations To Futurism The Designers Put Their Best Foot Forward And Created An Assortment Of Collections Implementing Various Techniques Like Digital Printing, Laser-Cutting, Weaving, Myriad Embroideries And Dyeing. Here’s Looking To More Innovative Work In The Coming Future From These Young Turks.
